  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Creole mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, and Creole mustard in the blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
  • Add minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar to the mixture. Blend again until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Season with smoked paprika, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Pulse the blender a few times to distribute the spices evenly.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper. For a spicier sauce, add more cayenne pepper.
  • Pour the sauce into a saucepan and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes to meld the flavors together.
  • Allow the sauce to cool before transferring it to a glass jar or container. Store in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, ensure all ingredients are at room temperature before blending.
  • If the sauce is too thick, thin it with a tablespoon of water or more vinegar.
  • Always taste as you go, especially when adjusting the spice levels.
  • This sauce can be made ahead of time; it actually tastes better after the flavors have had a chance to develop overnight.
  • Keep the sauce refrigerated and use within a week for best freshness.
