Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium-sized  Potatoes  (around 3.5 cups chopped)
  • ½ medium-sized  White onion (finely chopped)
  • 2-3  Garlic cloves (minced)
  • ¼ cup Onion greens (for garnishing)  
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 cups  Milk
  • 1.5 cups  Water

Instructions
 

  • Heat the cooking pot, and melt the butter.
  • Cook onions until brown.
  • Saute minced garlic for 1 minute.
  • Toss in the potato cubes and sauté for 4-5 minutes.
  • Add 1.5 cups of water into the mix.
  • Cover and cook for 25-30 minutes till potatoes are tender.
  • Mash potatoes with a masher.
  • Add milk, salt, pepper, and mix. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • Garnish with spring onion greens.
  • Enjoy!
