Ingredients
  

  • Egg (Yolks)
  • 50 grams Sugar (Granulated)
  • 250 ml  Whole Milk
  • 120 grams  Strawberry (Fresh)
  • 2 drops Red Food Colour
  • 2 tbsp  Corn Starch
  • ½ tsp  Vanilla Extract

Instructions
 

  • Start by washing and halving strawberries.
  • Smoothly blend fresh strawberries in a blender.
  • Strain the blended strawberries into a bowl and set aside.
  • In a bowl mix the granulated sugar and egg yolks together.
  • Add cornstarch to the mixture and whisk again.
  • Simmer milk in a big saucepan.
  • The heat should be turned off and some milk should be whisked into the bowl.
  • While whisking continuously, turn on the heat again and simmer the mixture.
  • Whisk the mixture until it thickens.
  • Add vanilla extract and continue whisking.
  • Mix the strawberry puree into the pot.
  • Add strawberry paste or red food color and mix again.
  • Turn off the heat when the custard is creamy.
  • Allow the custard to cool in a bowl.
  • Enjoy it!
