Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups  Beef broth
  • 1 can  Tomatoes (crushed)
  • 2 lbs Coarsely ground beef (chili grind)
  • 1 large Onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 cloves  Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp Oregano (dried)
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Ground cumin
  • Optional: chopped onions, and Green chili pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Sauté onions and garlic until softened.
  • Add ground beef, break it up, and cook until not pink.
  • Mix in chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  • Pour in crushed tomatoes and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
  • Reduce heat, and let it cook for at least an hour.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings. Simmer longer for thickness.
  • Serve hot, garnished with your preferred toppings.’
