Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled, deveined
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp brown sugar optional
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions
 

  • Soak skewers in water for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Rinse and pat shrimp dry completely.
  • In bowl, mix butter, oil, and lemon juice.
  • Add spices and stir well until blended.
  • Thread shrimp onto soaked skewers evenly.
  • Brush shrimp with the seasoned butter mix.
  • Place skewers on hot grill grates.
  • Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes each side.
  • Baste again before removing from heat.
  • Serve hot with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Use jumbo shrimp for best texture.
  • Don’t overcook; shrimp get rubbery fast.
  • Wooden skewers must soak to prevent burning.
