Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz canned salmon or cooked
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Drain salmon and remove bones.
  • Place salmon in a mixing bowl.
  • Add onion, parsley, breadcrumbs to bowl.
  • Add milk, egg, lemon juice to bowl.
  • Add salt, pepper, garlic powder.
  • Mix well with a fork.
  • Form mixture into small patties.
  • Dredge patties lightly in flour.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick skillet.
  • Place patties carefully in hot oil.
  • Cook each side until golden brown.
  • Drain on paper towel-lined plate.
  • Serve warm with your favorite dip.

Notes

Use fresh parsley for bright flavor.
Use Panko for extra crunch.
Chill patties before frying for firmness.
Add hot sauce for a spicy kick.
Use a fish spatula to flip easily.
