  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Line pan with parchment for easy lift.
  • Mix crumbs, sugar, and butter for crust.
  • Press crust into the pan evenly.
  • Bake crust for 10 minutes, then cool.
  • Beat cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add sugar and mix until combined well.
  • Add eggs one at a time.
  • Add vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  • Pour cheesecake over the cooled crust.
  • Bake for 30 minutes until set.
  • For topping, whisk sugar, syrup, and butter.
  • Add eggs, vanilla, and chopped pecans.
  • Pour pecan mixture over cheesecake layer.
  • Bake for 35 minutes until set and golden.
  • Cool bars to room temperature fully.
  • Chill in fridge for at least 4 hours.
