Boil noodles until al dente, then drain.
Cook beef and sausage in skillet until browned.
Drain fat from skillet and add marinara sauce.
In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, and parmesan cheese.
Add garlic, onion, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
In dish, layer sauce, noodles, and cheese mixture.
Add mozzarella on top of each layer evenly.
Repeat layers until ingredients are fully used.
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes.
