Ingredients
  

  • 56 ounces  Ground Sweet Tomatoes (drained)
  • 56 ounces  Tomatoes (diced and drained)
  • 4 tablespoons  White Sugar (granulated)
  • 2 teaspoons  Garlic Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Oregano (dried)
  • 1 ½ cups  warm Water

Instructions
 

  • Place sweet tomatoes in a mixing bowl and crush gently.
  • Combine crushed sweet tomatoes with diced tomatoes. Fill a pot with 1 ½ cups of warm water.
  • Add the crushed or blended tomatoes to the pot.
  • Simmer tomatoes on low heat for 2 hours.
  • Stir in white salt, white sugar, and dried oregano.
  • Stir for 5–7 minutes, leaving some tomato chunks.
  • Continue simmering for an additional 40 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and allow it to cool before use.
