- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp White sugar
- 6 Ounce Red chilis (dried or fresh)
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 small Onion (finely chopped)
- 1 inch piece Ginger (grated)
- 1 cup Apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup Water
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch dissolved in 2 tbsp of water
- 1 tsp Salt
Blend chilis, garlic, onion, and ginger for a smooth paste.
Put the paste in a pan, add vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and salt. Mix.
Heat and gently boil, then simmer for 10 mins.
Mix cornstarch with water. Slowly add to the sauce, and stir.
Cook for 5 more mins till it's right. Adjust thickness as needed. Enjoy!
