Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce optional
  • Red pepper flakes optional
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Line your baking sheet with parchment.
  • Cut sprouts in halves.
  • Place sprouts in a large bowl.
  • Drizzle olive oil over sprouts.
  • Add salt and black pepper.
  • Toss to coat the sprouts evenly.
  • Spread sprouts on baking sheet.
  • Roast for 20 minutes.
  • Flip sprouts halfway for even cooking.
  • In a saucepan, add balsamic vinegar.
  • Add honey, mustard, garlic, soy sauce.
  • Whisk and cook on low heat.
  • Let it thicken slightly for 3 minutes.
  • Remove sprouts from oven when golden.
  • Drizzle honey balsamic glaze over sprouts.
  • Toss to coat while warm.
  • Sprinkle red pepper flakes if desired.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve immediately while hot.

  1. Use fresh Brussels sprouts for best taste.
  2. Do not overcrowd the baking sheet.
  3. Flip sprouts for even caramelization.
  4. Use pure honey for better glaze flavor.
