Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, and onion powders, stirring.
Add lobster, parsley, and chives, and stir well.
Transfer the mixture to a 9-inch pie dish.
Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface, and cover the dish.
Brush pastry with beaten egg.
