Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 1 15 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 15 oz can kidney beans
  • 1 15 oz can black beans
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Optional: hot sauce jalapeños, fresh cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Remove excess fat if needed.
  • Add diced onion and bell pepper.
  • Cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.
  • Stir in garlic, tomato paste, and spices.
  • Cook for 2 minutes to bloom spices.
  • Add diced tomatoes and beef broth.
  • Stir in kidney and black beans.
  • Simmer uncovered for 25–30 minutes.
  • Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Serve hot with favorite toppings.
