Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb sirloin steak cubed
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled, deveined
  • 1 red bell pepper chunks
  • 1 yellow bell pepper chunks
  • 1 red onion chunks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Cut steak into bite-sized cubes carefully.
  • Pat shrimp dry with a paper towel.
  • In a bowl, add oil and lemon juice.
  • Add garlic, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, pepper.
  • Toss steak and shrimp in the marinade.
  • Cover and let marinate for 20 minutes minimum.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat until hot.
  • Thread steak, shrimp, peppers, onion onto skewers alternately.
  • Brush kabobs with remaining marinade evenly.
  • Place kabobs on the grill carefully.
  • Grill kabobs for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Ensure steak is cooked to desired doneness.
  • Shrimp should turn pink and firm up.
  • Remove kabobs from the grill gently.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving hot.

Notes

  1. Soak wooden skewers for 30 minutes first.
  2. Cut steak and veggies in equal sizes.
  3. Do not overcook shrimp to prevent rubbery texture.
  4. Use a meat thermometer for perfect steak doneness.
  5. Brush with garlic butter for extra rich flavor.
