Add rice and stir to coat well.
Pour chicken broth into the pan.
Add salt, pepper, and turmeric if using.
Bring the mixture to a boil gently.
Reduce heat and cover the pan tightly.
Simmer for 15-18 minutes until rice is tender.
Remove pan from heat and let sit.
Add lemon juice and lemon zest carefully.
Fluff rice using a fork lightly.
Stir in fresh dill and parsley quickly.
Taste and adjust salt if needed.
