Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 8 oz spaghetti cooked
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 cup peas optional
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Cook spaghetti until al dente. Drain well.
  • Heat oil in skillet. Add mushrooms and cook.
  • Remove mushrooms. Melt butter in skillet.
  • Add flour and whisk until smooth.
  • Slowly add broth, whisk until thick.
  • Add cream, garlic powder, salt, pepper.
  • Stir in chicken, mushrooms, peas, spaghetti.
  • Pour mixture into greased baking dish.
  • Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Cover with foil, bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove foil, bake until cheese is golden.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
  • Serve hot and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  1. Use rotisserie chicken for easy prep.
  2. Add peas for color and nutrition.
  3. Use freshly grated cheese for best melt.
  4. Do not overcook pasta before baking.
  5. Let it rest before serving for best slices
