Ingredients
  

  • 2 grilled chicken breasts sliced
  • 1 ripe avocado sliced
  • 4 slices sourdough or ciabatta bread
  • 4 slices Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise optional
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder pinch, optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat skillet over medium heat.
  • Lightly butter one side of each bread slice.
  • Place two slices, butter-side down, in skillet.
  • Add cheese, chicken, and avocado over each slice.
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Top with remaining bread, butter-side up.
  • Cook until bread is golden, 3–4 minutes.
  • Flip gently with spatula.
  • Cook the other side until cheese melts.
  • Remove, slice, and serve warm.
