Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce optional
  • 1 tsp cornstarch optional
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Wash broccoli and mushrooms well.
  • Cut broccoli into bite-sized florets.
  • Slice mushrooms thinly for even cooking.
  • Heat oil in a large wok.
  • Add garlic and ginger and sauté quickly.
  • Add broccoli and stir for two minutes.
  • Add mushrooms and continue to stir-fry.
  • Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and water.
  • Add sauce to the pan and stir well.
  • Cook until broccoli is crisp tender.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds before serving warm.

Notes

  1. Use fresh broccoli for best crunch.
  2. Do not overcook the broccoli.
  3. Add tofu for extra protein.
  4. Use low-sodium soy sauce if needed.
  5. Add chili flakes for a spicy touch.
