  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 cup finely chopped apples peeled
  • Oil for frying

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Whisk egg, milk, and vanilla in another bowl.
  • Add wet mix to the dry ingredients.
  • Stir in melted butter and chopped apples.
  • Mix until combined. Don’t over-mix the batter.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Drop batter by spoonfuls into hot oil.
  • Fry 2-3 minutes per side until golden.

  • For glaze, mix powdered sugar, milk, vanilla.
